Set in the beautiful Carr Center Performance Studio participants will experience a mindful relaxing and rejuvenating high frequency dynamic sound bath meditation. The sessions are held monthly, September to December. Dates are September 17, October 8, November 12, December 10. All sessions begin at 7:00 p.m.

What is a Sound Bath?

A sound bath is a session during which participants are ‘bathed’ by soothing therapeutic sounds by a variety of sound healing instruments. The Everyday People Sound Bath is a deeply meditative, full-body listening experience designed to help you reflect, relax and rejuvenate.

What to Bring?
Bring a yoga mat and other accoutrements to lay on the floor. If you prefer, you may also sit on the floor or in a chair.

Leslie is a certified professional Sound Healing Practitioner and Vibrational Sound Healer and is a member of the International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine. She approaches this practice by using a combination of mindful presence, sound, and intention to effect positive changes in a person’s mind, body, and spirit. By working with sound, vibration and intention, she creates an experience that is deeply healing and restorative.

A Few tips on how to best prepare for and enjoy the sound bath:
• Avoid consuming caffeine or alcohol at least two hours before the session.
• Avoid consuming large meals on the day, and allow at least 2 hours of digestion prior to the sound bath.
• Wear comfortable, loose clothes so that you feel cozy.
